Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) carefully before using the nycmobiledetailing.com website and mobile detailing services (the “Service”) operated by NYC Mobile Detailing (“us”, “we”, or “our”). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

1. Services

NYC Mobile Detailing provides professional mobile vehicle detailing, ceramic coating, paint protection film installation, vinyl wrapping, window tinting, and related automotive appearance services. All services are performed at your location within our service area of New York City and surrounding boroughs. Service availability, pricing, and scheduling are subject to change without notice.

2. Booking and Payment

When you book a service with us:

  • You must provide accurate and complete information about your vehicle and service location
  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as posted on our website
  • Quoted prices are estimates and may be adjusted based on actual vehicle condition and required work
  • All prices are in USD and are subject to applicable taxes

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost. No-shows will be charged the full service amount. Rescheduling requests are accommodated based on availability and must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled appointment.

4. Service Location Requirements

The customer must provide:

  • Access to an electrical outlet within 100 feet of the vehicle (for certain services)
  • Access to a water source if specified for the service
  • A suitable, safe, and accessible location for service
  • Permission to park and operate equipment at the service location

If the location is unsuitable or unsafe for service, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the appointment without penalty.

5. Vehicle Condition and Pre-existing Damage

Customers are responsible for disclosing any pre-existing damage, aftermarket modifications, or special conditions of their vehicle. We will conduct a vehicle inspection before service begins. NYC Mobile Detailing is not responsible for damage to vehicles with compromised paint, clear coat failure, loose trim, damaged seals, or other pre-existing conditions that may be affected by detailing services. We are not responsible for exposing or worsening pre-existing paint defects, swirl marks, or scratches that were previously masked by dirt, wax, or other coatings.

6. Warranty and Guarantees

We stand behind our work with the following guarantees:

  • Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours and we will work to resolve the issue
  • Ceramic Coating Warranty: Varies by product and package (typically 1-5 years); specific terms provided at time of service
  • Paint Protection Film Warranty: Manufacturer warranty applies; typically 5-10 years against yellowing, cracking, and peeling
  • Window Tint Warranty: Lifetime warranty against peeling, bubbling, and fading under normal conditions

Warranties do not cover damage from accidents, improper vehicle maintenance, automatic car washes, or unauthorized modifications.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall NYC Mobile Detailing, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from services provided shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of NYC Mobile Detailing and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of NYC Mobile Detailing.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
